You are very, very good with a camera, Trillian! This is perfect in every way. It's absolutely straight, has great interest with those various railing, lights, and bench and of course La Defense out there somewhere...and the gentleman looking afar...
Do I know that gentleman, perhaps? He's too dressed up to be a Pisan so maybe he's from Livorno?
I have not been to La Défense, but I can imagine wanting to look back at old Paris after a short time.

Cool shot. I always like it when you can get a random person in a photo. He's perfect for this setting too. Wonder what he's thinking about.
