It's a bit fancy.
I always like the SPQR grates in the ground. In fact, I think that's where I started taking pavement pictures. Not right here, but in other parts of Rome.
A place to sit and contemplate the Stars and Stripes?
So when you sit on it you see the embassy?

The back of the Embassy is behind the becnh, which is in front of a nice restaurant.
Looks nice:)
Here one needs a lot more than one bench near a USA Embassy... always big crowds hoping to get visas.
