I can't believe how people vandalise historic works of art.
Without looking at the description I thought to myself (who else?), ah, southern Italy. Nice. There's something disconcerting about a headless statue, though, unless it really is meant to be just a torso. Wonder how it was lost?
At least you could sit there and not have the feeling someone is looking over your shoulder.
Looks like a peaceful park, it's a pity the sculpture is broken.Léia
