@ Trillian - We lived for years in South Florida (Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale, etc.).
During the winter, hundreds of thousands of people from Quebec would arrive and many would stay for 3-4 months.
On Hollywood Beach, on the boardwalk, were a number of restaurants. What was most fun was walking along the boardwalk and hearing country/western songs by American artists being sung in French!
During the winter, French became the most popular language in some areas of South Florida.

He certainly looks right at home on that bench! Pretty legs on the benches. I like the whole scene.
