It's a nice shot, but the bench, like so many benches, doesn't look all that comfortable. Perhaps benches are considered "temporary" places and thus are built so as to allow a brief respite but ensure that after a time they pressure (through pain in the back and butt) the person to move on?
A quiet little spot to rest near the main shopping strip at Greenacre. This area has recently undergone some improvements so I should go back and see how different it is now. Sydney - City and Suburbs

Nice setting for the bench, at least you know where you are.
