Stefano does it again, although this looks more like a railing than a bench...or like a very loooooong, narrow bench. And there is someone sitting there. Who could that be?
Keep in mind that this is a 13th century building and this kind of bench is quite common in ancient buildings here in Tuscany. You'll see another one from Pisa within a few days.
San Gimignano is one of my favourite places on earth.
I once left my old film camera on a bench like just like this one. When I realized it, I ran back like a madwoman thinking 'it's probably gone'. There was an old gentleman sitting right beside my camera. When I got there panting, he said 'I was wondering if its owner was coming back for it with a big smile'! Made my day!

You could almost miss this bench. I do like these long architectural benches once you notice them.

P.S.: that wasn't in Tuscany but in the Basque country in France.
