I agree, Tapirgal, and not only so, but the bench was sort of in the middle of nothing. I can't imagine anyone wanting to sit there unless they were absolutely exhausted!

A strip mall is a strip of shops all in a row. Usually they are not that nice. A nice-looking bench at least!
