@ Dina - The dome behind the trees, in the center of the photo, is the Great Synagogue of Rome.

VP, I didn't know about the Tarpeian Rock until you mentioned it on my blog and I just did some research about it and learnt about its connection to the Roman Forum. There's a steep cliff behind the Opera House, that was created when the rock was cut away to build a road, which was named Tarpeian Way.
